What does Love want me to know about this?

Attachment and Resilience timelines,

Just Notice.

One of my favorite journal prompts that's helped me and my clients,  is:

What does Love want me to know about this?

How are you supporting your most important relationship?

P.S. It's the one with yourself.

Asking “What does love want me to know about this?” invites us to look at a challenge from a different place—not through fear, shame, blame, or the need to fix something, but through compassion and understanding. It can help us become curious about what we were protecting, what we needed, and what we may still need now. From that perspective, our struggles often begin to make more sense, and we can respond to ourselves with greater kindness, clarity, and choice.

Below is mine for today.

I also do all the things I ask you to do... therapy, journaling, meditating on the beach in the morning, lifting weights, exercising, eating well, and doing somatic practices.

So I am sharing this to inspire and support you on this journey for yourself. You are not alone on this journey called life, and, when you lift your eyes and look around you can see your supports all around you, if you choose.

You can even do this practice out loud , in the moment, if you don't like a pen in your hand.

Love wants me to know today:

Continue doing your work and see how things become clearer. Love wants me to know that it can be easy to focus on myself if I choose to allow it. Feel the freedom and don't be afraid to let go of your 'shoulds'.

Invite yourself to engage in the behavioral strategy of completion: To settle your mind, settle your body, settle your identity of who you are, and settle where you need to stand in relationships to love others and gain insight into how to love yourself.

There is a beginning, a middle, and an end to everything. Allow yourself to engage with that flow instead of the mess of multitasking and expectations, and attachments to outcomes.  Do one thing and complete it; slow your roll.

Put everything right with yourself, and you will see opportunities flow to you: love, joy, travel, freedom, and awareness.

With your commitment to yourself, you are already finding your way to your true self. Even if that feels uncomfortable sometimes, it will all become clear as you go; it always does.

Finished! Here is the link to the attachment and resilience timelines.  I have copies in the office or feel free to download digitally.
